Pit Finish Guardrail
Our permanent mounted guardrails are the perfect fall-protection safety solution around recessed areas, such as shipping pits, where a free-standing base is not an option. Choose your railing length as well as your mounting style, with the railing mounts remaining anchored securely below grade to the concrete floor or substrate — while still allowing the railing itself to be removed as needed for clear access. This “pit finish” railing is a specialty rail used when mounts cannot be placed at the very edge or at inside/outside corners of a pit or concrete loading dock. These railings overhang the mount to eliminate games and provide a seamless fall-protection enclosure.
